Sometimes it's just time to have fun feeling blond. I love this hair and had fun wearing and sporting it the other day. It was fun being a blond! I may do it again soon. You never know. ;)

Gothic Beauty, Part 2

This is my new week's update up now at my official site. Apparently I have enough gorgeous, erotic, vampy, and definitely "Violently Sexy," to make into a two partner and that's what I did. I love these photos and this set I would say is the the more " gothic horror erotica." They definitely tell a story which I like. It may be a dark scary story but it's still worthwhile.

Artist: Raven Young

A few weeks ago, I made friends with a fabulous girl, Raven through twitter and we both realized we shared a lot in common. I first noticed her because of her look. She is absolutely beautiful and I actually saw her profile through another twitter follower. Raven and I discovered that we are both artists, both into the "alternative", both are very passionate, and that our creativity fuels us both in our lives. She is definitely someone I wanted to have on my blog.
Besides being talented and smart as hell, she is also a sweet person and a very sweet friend to me. I wish she lived closer to me for sure but we still plan on doing some sort of collaboration together so we'll see what happens.

I asked Raven to send me a bio on her path to becoming an artist and what inspires her, and more, and after reading her bio, I was impressed and even more happy to have met this fabulous artist. Every bit of work she does has meaning to it which as an artist my self means a lot. She definitely represents my idea of being "Violently Sexy." Bio: Scum Artist Raven Young

Artist Raven is currently located in the Lehigh Valley area of
Pennsylvania. Her morbid curiosity began at a young age and she has
been bringing her macabre visions to canvas since her teens but only
began selling and showing to the public in 2005. She draws
inspiration from nature, human cruelty, personal nightmares, the
cycles of life and death, horror, pop culture, sex, BSDM, and urban
filth. Her artwork directly reflects the outsider perspective that
comes with her Goth Lifestyle. Raven is known for her roadkill
paintings and gained notoriety for them in 2009 when she was featured
on ABC Nightline. She uses dead animals in her mixed media work and
jewelry line. The animal remains are often gathered from actual
roadkill or taken from other macabre sources such as ritual remains
from Santeria altars found in cemeteries. Her work ranges from very
dark to whimsical depending on her mood. Most of her paintings are
completed using acrylic and oil but she sometimes works with other
mediums including her own blood. She jokingly refers to herself as a
scum artist since she lives almost exclusively off of her art sales
and alternative lifestyle. Raven's interest in death and dying lead to
her earning a degree in Anthropology. Besides her art she has also
been known to sew and designs clothing, Spin at clubs, and even has
had her own radio shows. She had ran her own Goth club nights years
prior under the name "Dark Obsessions" and plans to resurrect the
event once she relocates to the NYC area. Her role as an artist and
radio personality in the goth, metal, and punk music scene landed her
a guest interview in the 2010 Documentary "Living The American
Nightmare" . Although she does not consider herself an actress or
model she has been seen over the years in bit roles on vampire
programs, horror movies, music videos, album covers, and even the
occasional tv show. Her art has been featured in several magazines
over the years including Gothic Beauty, Time out NYC, and Auxiliary
Magazine.

Current projects include an art collaboration project for the Kinsey
Institute of sex research, A book she is co-writing with MTV
Downtown Girl Shallon Lester, a video blog to recording her trials and
tribulations as an artist, and several soon-to-be gallery shows are in
the works. She is also launching a new project with fellow Goth
misfit ChaseBats (writer, model, DJ, Musician) called "Trashbats" on
Feb 3rd.. a project they hope will turn into their own reality show
down the line.
